A few days ago, I was having a conversation with some of my friend’s social democrat about reasons of migration or/and immigration. We concluded that the problem is due to the basic elements of the hopelessness and suffering of the citizens of the Indo-American countries that is totally opposite to the situation of liberty and wellbeing that exist in developed countries. The bad governments that generated erroneous politics in theses last time period generates the wide-opened increased of immigration to developed countries. Pitifully, the standing of the country of destiny labels us as legal or illegal and makes our possibility to develop limited as soon as we arrive.
But here comes the controversy: the immigrants are a fundamental part of the nations that receives us. Of course yes, in the United States' case the immigrants are an integral part of this Nation’s greatness. If we revised the history of this country, we can see that immigration never was and will never be a problem. Moreover, the immigration has constructed great towns and later a great nation all over. The most recent example is the United States of America. It is the blood, sweat and tears of the men and women immigrants in the different eras of colonization that populated the vast plains of this Nation from East to West, and the history of the continue immigration, who had arrived from Holland, Jewish, poor English, Germans, Swishes and Irish, and what to say about the hundreds of Africans who moral debt will never be paid and its only compared to the holocausts, or what to say about the Asians who are brought to the country with false expectations. In addition, what we say about the thousands of Mexican who were given for money and against their will due to the ept’ness cowardice of the governing Mexican during the last century.
In despite to this, the human efforts allowed to construct what today is the American dream. Therefore, they all gain the title to be men and women of America because they contributed to the greatness of this Nation. This is why it is said that North America is the result of multiple wiliness of nations of diverse raze, cultural backgrounds, religion and language arrived here.
Currently, the same things continue to happen with today’s immigrants. They make the economy move in North America. They are the ones that with hard work moves the industries, no matter what their title is, specially, the Latinos that represent actually the 12% of the populations establishing like this, to be the majority group among the immigrants of the 1st generation.
After analysis done about immigration, it is concluded, that the Hispanic immigrants are the best consumers of the North American’s market, who knowledge is not as demanding as the Anglo-Saxon’s but they purchase, and with this they mobilize the industry of this country. Keep in mind that this group is the one that can cause less damage to this country because it is known that while this Nation remains strong, the immigrants can help their family members that are in their native countries. Therefore, these immigrants will defend this country as their own. Because Untied States of America y wee are Americans from the South or Central America, we are sons and daughters of this continent.
Due to the mentions above, as a Peruvian- Social-democrat, I believe that it is necessary that the Republican government of President. George W. Bush, adopt reasonable measures to those Hispanic immigrants of 1st generation. Anglo-Saxon’s American can’t forget that almost 30 millions of Hispanic legal immigrants represent the 10% of the Gross Internal Product of the United States and that the illegal immigrants move around 200 billions dollars in and out of the United States. Therefore, I dare to propose to allow the legalization of all Hispanic that arrived to this country before September 11, 2001. Due to the multiples contributions that as a group they bring to the development of this nation, allowing them to be part of the economic system of North America in as a consequent, a physical benefit to North America.
